Is used as a professional development by the Stanford School of Education and the Exploratorium, K12IMC.org is a non-profit resource, maintained by Dr. Bonnie Tenenbaum.

Interactive Websites provide standards-based cross curricular web resources designed to enhance online learning opportunities. These sites interact with the user usually through either a text-based or graphical user interface.

Copyright Friendly Resources


Copyright Friendly is a wiki with copyright resources to use in media projects, web pages, blogs, wikis etc.


For those of you who are starting to publish on wikis, blogs or the internet is good to know where you can find copyright friendly images and sound.

Most of the media in these collections are attached to generous copyright licensing. Though you may not need to ask permission to use them when publishing on the Web for educational purposes, you should cite or attribute these images to their creators unless otherwise notified! If you see any copyright notices on these pages, read them for further instructions.

You can find websites by categories witch makes it easier for you to search.

10,000 Online Learning Websites

While reading this months digital edition of Learning and Leading with Technology from ISTE, I found out that TeachersFirst Website is offering free access to 10,000 online learning websites containing a wide variety of content for all subjects for grades K-12. About two dozen new resources are added each week.

Johnnie's Math Page is the site to find fun math for kids, math games, and even a little math homework help.

Interactive math activities from across the web have been organized by topic to make math learning enjoyable and interesting.

For parents and teachers, you will find math lessons and math worksheets as well as links to other math teaching resources.

For those who like a challenge, you will find free math games in the math puzzles section.

As always a fan reader and follower of Larry Ferlazzo's Blog, one of his recent posts called April's "The Best... Lists" is a list of The Best of April. It works better for me this way since I can find them all in one post.
